If you are prequalified and ready to buy there are some great homes out there, there is also a new loan program called NCI in charles county for down payment assistance, it is called NSP in PG. NAR's new amendment on tax credit

National Association of Realtors has just posted their guidelines on the tax credit, email, and/or call me and I will send you some information.

Tax Credit extended

Thank goodness, the tax credit has been extended until April 2010 for you first-time home buyers, and there is also a 6500 tax credit for resales, with certain requirements. It's still a great time to buy!
